Minister for Veterans’ Affairs visits

The Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, Darren Chester, has visited Concord Hospital to hear about our new National Centre for Veterans’ Healthcare.

Minister Chester enjoyed a tour of the hospital's redevelopment site, which will be home to Australia's first integrated care approach to looking after the mental and physical health and wellbeing of veterans and their families.

Concord Hospital has a proud history of caring for veterans. The National Centre for Veterans' Healthcare is the next chapter in our continued support for the men and women who serve our country.

The centre’s unique model of care will bring specialised services together in one location at Concord Hospital to meet the health and rehabilitation needs of veterans as well as support for the whole family.

The National Centre for Veterans’ Healthcare is being delivered as part of the hospital’s stage one redevelopment.

You can hear more about the Centre here and at our Innovation and Research Symposium on Friday June 22. Register now at www.slhd.nsw.gov.au/innovationsymposium/whatson.html
